I discovered barre while rehabbing an ankle injury as a professional ballerina. I was excited to discover a mode of fitness that is musically driven, addresses muscle imbalances, improves posture and prevents injuries. My fitness career began at Flywheel Sports, where I became one of the most in-demand Master barre instructors in New York City. I honed my craft in my position as the Northeast Regional Training Manager by teaching daily classes and training hundreds of other instructors.
In 2017 my husband and I moved to Austin TX, where I became Director of Training for Mod Fitness, an instructor for Equinox, a certified personal trainer, and a pre/postnatal certified trainer. During this time, I navigated becoming a first-time mom and continued building community through my @britsbarre Instagram. In sharing my short barre videos, a far-reaching and passionate following began requesting a full-length class experience. It is with that loyal support that I bring you this platform today.
My appreciation for barre runs deep. It has kept me strong and injury-free outside the dance world, supported my body through pregnancy, and provided the muscular endurance I needed to push for three unmedicated hours to deliver my daughter. Additionally, I fully rehabbed my core and entire body postpartum through my barre strengthening exercises.

The Britsbarre on-demand virtual studio delivers a premium boutique fitness class experience in the convenience of your home. My classes are core-centric, musically-driven and challenging. They are defined by intelligently sequenced choreography, modifications for all levels and meticulous alignment-focused demonstration.
I created the Britsbarre on-demand virtual studio to share my love of movement to music through my athletic approach to barre. Britsbarre classes develop endurance based lean muscle through low impact, high-rep movements that contribute to a defined physique, however, my goal for you is to move and sweat from a place of power and appreciation for what your body can do. I want you to leave my class sweaty, stronger, and boldly confident.
Living in NYC, we had the best of the best when it came to instructors and to this day, of the hundreds and hundreds of classes I have taken, no one has ever exceeded the level set by Brit. I can’t explain it other than she just knows how to get the most out of each and every exercise in each and every workout. And she does it with a smile on her face and (at the end) mine too!
I’ve been a client of Brittany’s since 2015, and have never encountered such an amazing barre instructor since—truly no one compares! She’s passionate about her craft and pushes you to go beyond your comfort zone, while providing modifications as needed without judgement.
